个人简介

1990年毕业于华中理工大学计算机软件专业,获工学学士学位,1993年毕业于华中理工大学模式识别与智能控制专业,获工学硕士学位,留校从事教学及科研工作,并于2000年毕业于华中科技大学模式识别与智能系统专业,获工学博士学位,20016月至20026月为美国加州大学Irvine分校认知科学系博士后。现为华中科技大学自动化学院教授,博士生导师,从事计算机视觉和模式识别等方面的研究工作。

作为项目负责人先后承担了国家自然科学基金重点与面上项目、教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”项目、863计划项目、高分辨率对地观测系统重大专项项目等国家与省部级课题30余项的研究,获得省部级一等奖4项,二等奖5项,三等奖2项,在国内外学术刊物及国际学术会议发表相关研究论文100余篇,其中数十篇被SCIEI收录,申请美国专利2项,已授权1项,申请中国发明专利68项,已授权45项,其中4项专利已转让,2项专利已实施独占许可授权。2005年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。
